Wow, what a great way to end the week. M-is swept the board at the inaugural World Exhibition Stand Awards 2019 yesterday, winning 11 awards with our work for BAE Systems, Xerox and the RAF, including the top Platinum honours for Best Stand and Best Use of Technology.
We also picked up Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in Best Stand 1000sqm+; Best Story Telling; and Best Stand at a Print Event.
The World Exhibition Stand Awards celebrates the best in exhibition stand and experience design across the globe.
The big winners were our BAE Systems team, who hauled in an incredible seven gongs for their stands at Farnborough International Air Show 2018 and the Defence and Security Equipment International 2017.
Andrew Bolton, BAE Systems account director, was full of praise for the awards and his team:
“It’s great to see that truly connected creativity and brand experience has such recognition in global tradeshow programmes.
“I’m really proud of our team. They’ve been incredible and it’s great to see their hard work, and dedication to pushing creative boundaries, pay off so spectacularly. Also, a big thank you to BAE Systems for helping to shape this work and for nurturing innovation. It takes a lot of people to make a winning team, agency and client-side, and each and every one of them has been essential. Kudos to all!” He said.
Meanwhile, our ground-breaking virtual reality experience Op VR picked up its third and fourth awards of the season with Gold and Bronze in the Best use of Technology and Best Story Telling categories.
John Young, M-is executive creative director, said:
“I would firstly like to thank our clients, without their trust and belief in our creativity and production quality we could not have won these awards – a huge thank you from all your teams at M!
“It is wonderful to see that creativity applied to strategic experiential design and digital innovation can win awards, but also to be celebrated by our clients and their customers.
“Everything we do is focused on delivering a desired effect: whether reaching young people and exciting them about a career; introducing the new business direction of a globally recognised brand; or elevating cutting-edge new technology through experiential design; it’s the customer or visitor’s experience that changes their perceptions.
“These incredible results are down to our constant investment in research, technology and creativity; our clients’ openness to innovation; and our team here at M. Congratulations all!”
